About Me
Hi I’m Taylor (She/Her/Hers)! I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). I have a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Guelph. I have experience working in inpatient, community, and private practice mental health settings, where I have had the privilege of working with a wide range of clients with varying needs and backgrounds. My experiences, both educational and professional, have provided me with a deep understanding of the power of active listening, unconditional support, and meaningful connections for growth and healing. In my practice I strive to emulate these factors and provide a warm, safe, and non judgmental space for all clients. I believe we all have the ability to thrive and flourish, but may need a supportive and empathetic environment to help us build skills and access our inner strengths. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and will work collaboratively with you to understand your desired goals, and find ways to achieve these goals that work for you and your life.
When working with all of my clients, I take a client centred and trauma informed approach. I approach all clients with curiosity, compassion, and warmth. I believe in tailoring treatments to each client’s individual needs, and take an integrative approach to ensure we find the approach and tools that will fit best for you and your life. I am trained in and draw from a variety of approaches including :

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
